美術家の前田春日美とダンサーの豊島彩花が「身体を置く」「動作を物質として捉え直すこと」について対話を重ねながら制作するパフォーマンス作品。 空間/互いの身体/オブジェクトに身体の一部を預ける動きで構成され、痒みや痛みといった自身の意思とは異なる感覚が肌理を這うように「不自由」を互いの身体に移動させることで、誰かの拡張された身体の可能性として、身体への認識の新しい扉を開く。
The artist Maeda Kasumi and the dancer Toyoshima Toyoshima produce performance works juxtaposed with discourse on “placing the body” and “redefining movement as matter.” By structuring movements around a certain body part, which is entrusted to a space, the other person’s body or an object, the artists cause each other’s body to move in an “inconvenient” way, as if an unintended sensation such as an itch or pain is crawling across the skin, opening up a new door to physical perception as a means of expand the potential of the human body.
